Career in Chartered Financial Analyst
What is it?
CFA Program is a professional graduate level curriculum offered by CFA Institute to Investment and Financial professionals. After CFA, one assumes specialized skills in Investment analysis and portfolio management while understanding the trends in the industry.
A CFA can work in wide range of areas primarily as portfolio managers, research analyst, investment banker, traders, private bankers, relationship managers and hedge fund managers.

- Research and track financial performance of investments in companies
- Prepare reports and give recommendations to clients based on the current market trends
- Study economic and business trends for the purpose of investment

One has to pursue all three levels of CFA (I, II and III).
A CFA gets around 7-10 lacs per annum based on the experience. The salary may go as high as 24 lacs per annum in due course of time.
